Tried a couple of wigs for smaller dolls on Mollie but the elastic band was too small to fit around her head. Came up with the idea to link two paper clips together as spacers and now the smaller wigs fit very well.
Just tried it. It does work better than the paper clips. Thanks for that suggestion. Also, any suggestions on how to keep the plastic hooks from unhooking while playing with the doll?
I am glad it worked, for you! It took me a while to figure those loops out, myself. I always just hooked the two pieces together...which, as you know does not always work.
As for keeping that Wig on, or straight, during fun time....I have nothing to offer, on that, LoL... I have just come to accept that, and the resultant Bed Head Look, until I comb it back out...😉
I just looked at my smaller wigs. found the loops. Never noticed they were even there Think I'll give them a try instead of the paper clips. Thanks for the info on those loops!
I am not trying to be a Wise A** saying this...did you try using the small adjustment loops, associated with the elastic bands, inside the net cap, of your Wig?
