Got bored again. In all, I spent less than $10 on this time-killer. Mrs V helps with the ladies' makeup and had suggested buying or making something so it was easier to keep their heads still. I paid $11 for a 3' length of 16mm x 2.0 threaded pipe and used under 1' for this project. I like to have spare lengths to make head posts (currently working on a homemade head that may or may not see the light of day). I bought a $5 bag of concrete and used under 1/4 of it.
Got a cute new hat for Miko from China today too LOL 😉

Sorry, y'all. Work and life have gotten busy again and I'm not on as often.
My threaded post came from Ebay but it was a Grainger product. Pretty easy to find. I was able to make cuts with a hacksaw but opted to use my ginder instead. I've also made head/neck posts with this piece. Not sure what the price is now, but I think I paid around $11 for it and could have made 3x stands with it.

Yep this is great resourcefulness Kelly. I use the eye nuts, eye bolts & hefty S hooks for storage but I need to build something like this.
Where are you guys getting the bolts? Do they have the same threading as the neck bolt? I was trying to find some bolts with the same threading at several places, and I had no luck at all.
Please let me know
That’s really great, Kelly! I bought some two inch long bolts, in the 16 mm course thread, with thoughts of doing something similar, one of these days...to hold my Spare Heads...
And that’s a cute Hat, on Miko!
