I had a rather large question that I sent to customer service and their answer was, shall we say, lacking. I am now turning to the forum for your help and would appreciate any and all help. What I am looking to do is to automate one of these dolls. I want to add actuators and sensors to the doll and was looking for information on how to repair the TPE. I plan on cutting down to the skeleton to add attachment points for the actuators. I also plan on adding sensors under the skin. This is a brief listing of what I need to do. I am also interested in the skeleton and what the joints are like. Is there a skull? Does it have a hinged jaw? I was hoping to get these answers from the company but their answer to my inquiry was "No cutting the TPE." Yes, a four word response. Does anyone know about making repairs to the TPE? Can it be done with a hot iron or does it require solvent/adhesive? I'd like to make seamless repairs as I do not want her to come out looking like the bride of Frankenstein. However, it's not entirely important as this is a proof of concept robotic project but the better it looks, the better for my purposes. So? Anyone know about repair of the TPE? Anyone know anything about the skeleton?

The Dolls have a Stainless Steel Welded Skeleton, with multi axis joints and a flexible Gooseneck Joint. The Hands are multi axis jointed, but the Fingers are Wire. The head does not have a Jaw Hinge, just a hole, for the mouth.
There are pictures on the Internet, of the Steel Skeleton.
I suggest you look on one of the Two Large Love Doll Forums, for help with your question (TDF or ODC).
