I am about to 'pull the trigger' and place my order, but I have a few questions for those who have purchased, and who has a doll of their own.
- How 'lifelike do they feel?
- Is cleaning them easy? I only have 2 showers in my home - No bathtub.
- Is the metal skeleton durable? Will it break if you are bending it into too many positions?
- When UPS brings them, there is NO markings on the box that the delivery driver could figure out what is inside?
- How well to they stand on their own? Do they need to be leaned against something to really get them to stand upright?
- Are there any hooks that you can purchase to hang the doll up when you need to store it away?
I am purchasing the male doll, and I have not seen any posts on here from anyone that has purchased a male doll, so if you have, your feedback would be GREATLY appreciated - BUT, I'd really like for anyone who chooses to answer to go for it! Any insight will help!
- How 'lifelike do they feel?
As far as the lady dolls , very lifelike as far as they way they feel, my wife even insists on this as well.
- Is cleaning them easy? I only have 2 showers in my home - No bathtub.
So far I have been using ( dont laugh it actually works very well) a bedside camode chair like what they use in a hospital, basically it's a shower chair with a hole in it
and a place to put a bucket for the bathroom part, just leave the bucket off and there you have it. I have ordered some hooks so I can hang our doll, but still waiting for them and to see how well they will work.
- Is the metal skeleton durable? Will it break if you are bending it into too many positions?
So far my skeleton seems good to go, have not had any issues, just takes a little bit to get used to how to move the doll as far as the joints, by the way it is dead weight! Keep that in mind, unless you have someone helping you it may be difficult depending on how much your doll weighs and what you are able to handle as far as weight goes.
By the way we are looking at possibly getting the male doll for my wife as well, once you have your doll any feedback would be great, from a womens perspective, and thank you.
- When UPS brings them, there is NO markings on the box that the delivery driver could figure out what is inside?
Our box that showed up , was fine no external markings that we could see, if you are worried about the delivery person figuring it out you could have it sent to another secure location (UPS center/ or something similiar) and then pick it up yourself from there.
- How well to they stand on their own? Do they need to be leaned against something to really get them to stand upright?
We have not tried to stand ours up without something helping the doll to stay up, seems unsteady, With that said, its not hard to use something to balance it and make it sturdy, just be creative.
- Are there any hooks that you can purchase to hang the doll up when you need to store it away?
They do sell a neck attachment for sex dolls that have a hook integrated into them, so if you have a sturdy/strong place to hang your doll then yes you could do that while cleaning if need be.
Good luck with your doll, and welcome. hope some of that was helpful, cheers!
@RG Hmmmmmm, I am looking at the Mistress Love Dolls site and they have the exact same male doll on that site (With the head that would be shipped with mine) and it is saying that it is Out Of Stock ... But the male doll on this site is exactly the same doll on the mistress site. Should I be worried if I order this doll that it really is not in stock?
@Expendable that sucks that she came with a broken neck :( Perhaps this Michael guy that you speak of is arranging a shipment of a wheelchair to you for her 😯? That would suck to get a damaged one, then have to play around trying to get the issue solved. It's not like you would feel comfortable calling ups to tell them that they broke the neck of your love doll.
I really appreciate ALL of the comments coming thru!
OH, another thing .. I was surfing the web lastnight looking at dolls elsewhere .. and several sites have the same male doll that this site has, but for $2000+ .... Can it seriously be the same doll offered on this site? Are they maybe being made differently with a cheaper material to allow this site to sell them so cheap compared to the other sites selling him?
@BigD You should go for it. Love Dream Dolls is legit, shipping is FAST and considering the prices and quality here you really can't go wrong.
I thought that I was going to have to pay around $2000 for a doll and wait weeks for her to arrive. I actually gave up on the thought until I found this place and checked out this forum.
Also check out the other two websites that are associated with Love Dream Dolls' parent company. There's another forum where you may find additional info.
Thanks for ALL of your answers guys! They have all helped out! They sound like they can be alot of work .. Wash down, dry, oil them up, wipe off extra oil the next day, powder .. geesh! I may as well go find a real man! Nah .. that will cost me more than this doll will! I will stick with the doll. I do not like the 'discreet' box that it is shipped in though. I guess that the ups driver may think that it is a really heavy mannequin (unless they know Chinese, then I am busted) .. I am confused though because the site says that they are made and manufactured here in the USA .. why a box with all the Chinese writing?
Thanks for all of the answers/responses! Keep coming with your answers if you wanna chime in! I will be reading them and taking notes :)
Here's my feedback on the lifelike, cleaning, breaking, no markings, standing, and hooks questions.
I probably wouldn't have purchased a doll if not for the difficult pandemic situation we're dealing with right now. I saw my significant other today for only the second time since all of this started and couldn't even give her a hug. It's frustrating. A love doll will never replace that sort of intimacy. Whether or not a doll feels lifelike depends on your expectations, needs, and desires.
Just like a real human, a doll will require some maintenance. TPE dolls require cleaning after each use. You don't need a tub and it's probably better if you just "sponge bathe", wear a condom with each use, and only clean as necessary. TPE isn't like silicone. It can harbor bacteria, mold, etc. Cleaning with mineral oil, cornstarch, flushing and drying orifices after use is required. Some people use tampons others use aquarium gear for drying?!
TPE dolls require gentle handling, but with the price you'll pay here you could seriously abuse a doll and purchase another replacement for less than half of most other places.
Unfortunately, the box that I received wasn't devoid of markings. I was very disappointed with that because as this website says "All orders are shipped in discrete, plain boxes. Once the order is shipped from our warehouse, nobody will no (sic) what's inside". If you look at my previous posts this clearly isn't true. Because I wasn't home to sign for the package I had to pick up my package from the UPS station 25 miles away. The lady that got it for me started making small talk. Perhaps she knew what was in the package? Maybe I should have asked for her number? I was just kind of embarrassed though.
The standing option's reliability might depend on the weight of the doll. My doll is 5'2" and 70lbs. I purchased her because anything thing less than 5'2" would have felt creepy to me. 70lbs can be a lot to handle when you working away and suddenly your doll decides to prefer gravity!
I wouldn't hang my doll but her lying in bed next to me seems to work just fine ;)
I hope that any of this info helps.
I think they feel very lifelike; very pleasurable... Cleaning them is not really difficult. I never take mine in the shower...I just use a washcloth and warm water....then apply Baby oil, then talcum powder...
I personally have had no issues regarding the steel skeleton...
They will stand on their own, if you have the patience to do it...I usually just lean mine against something, to have them stand. It is not recommended to hang these Dolls by their neck....the gooseneck design is not strong enough to bear the weight...
The box your Doll comes in is pretty generic looking, with nothing to really tell what it is...
